Covid-19 Policy:

While all massage therapist’s are following all the health and safety guidelines outlined by the Washington State Board of Massage Therapists and the Department of Health and that they are taking all reasonable precautions to clean and disinfect the clinic and all the surfaces within the treatment room, the risk cannot be reduced to zero and that you understand and accept the risks. Satori Massage reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any appointments at any time due to surges of covid-19 in the region or to any perceived risk to a client or therapist. High-risk and underlying conditions that put you at higher risk for complications from covid-19 are as follows: age 65 or older, suppressed immune system, history of some respiratory conditions, certain blood disorders, obesity, kidney or liver disorders, cancer, history of some heart and/or circulatory conditions. You will be e-mailed a covid-19 screening form within 24 hours before any upcoming appointment. Masks are required within the building and throughout your entire appointment. I authorize the clinic and its associated health professionals to collect my personal and medical information as documented above if there is any exposure to covid-19 in our facility you will be notified by the department of health. In addition,

 I authorize the clinic and its associated health professionals to communicate with my family doctor and/or referring doctor as deemed necessary for my beneficial treatment. I also understand that my personal and medical information is confidential and will only be disclosed to third parties with my permission. I certify that the above medical information is correct to my knowledge. That patients will disclose any exposure or symptoms of Covid-19 to Satori Massage and Integrative Health Center immediately. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient. 

As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee. If your cancellation is due to covid-19 you will not be charged a cancellation fee as long as you notify us as soon as possible. Satori Massage and Integrative Health Center is modifying hours to allow for time of this extra cleaning and screening between patients.

Arrival Policy:

Our client’s are asked to confirm email addresses with Jane scheduling and to have all online intakes filled out prior to your appointment.  We are trying to limit the amount of people in our waiting area. When you arrive if you see people already in the waiting room please remain in the foyer until the area is clear. Masks are required in the building and throughout your entire appointment. If you do not have one we can provide one to you. 

We understand that things come up that are out of your control. Should you arrive later than your appointment time you may have a shortened service, or you may still receive your full service if time allows, depending on the provider’s schedule.  If you arrive 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, your appointment is considered canceled by late/missed appointment/no-show.  A $40 late/missed appointment/no-show fee will be applied to your account.

Communication by phone, email or text, with the office and providers ensure the most efficient use of client and provider’s time and resources.

Booking Appointments And Cancellation Policy:

Scheduling an appointment with Satori Massage and Integrative Health Center can be done by calling us at 360-366-8398, or scheduling on our HIPPA Compliant Online Scheduling website,  A contact phone number and email address is required for online scheduling.  Your name and contact information is not shared or sold.  Our online scheduling system will email appointment confirmations as well as email appointment reminders. All of our intake forms can be filled out online as well as telemedicine visits upon request to go over your health history as needed. 

We understand that in some cases you may need to cancel your scheduled appointment. Should you need to cancel, we ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice. Clients providing a least 24 hours notice may have appointments cancelled or rescheduled at no charge. Clients providing less than 24 hours notice for a cancellation will be charged a $40 late cancellation. Clients who fail to arrive at a scheduled appointment without providing notice will be charged a $40 no show fee. Should an emergency situation arise, please share that information with us, as each situation will be dealt with on an individual basis.

To ensure availability of your desired appointment time, we suggest you schedule your next visit before leaving.Health and Safety Policy ( this one is fine I just want to add some things about draping) Our licensed therapists and acupuncturists are trained in procedures to assure you are properly covered during the treatment and your privacy will always be respected. Satori Massage and Integrative Health Center is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items. 

Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing; however, we ask that you disrobe at your level of comfort.  During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on.This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it’s the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify your therapist of any discomfort or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off while in the treatment rooms.

Professional Boundaries

Requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and reported to the proper authorities under the guidelines of Satori Massage and Integrative Health Center’s  massage therapy policies and procedures. The client will not be rescheduled if this occurs.  The breast and genital area will not be massaged under any circumstances. A professional distance will be maintained from these areas. Sexual interaction, dating solicitations, inappropriate gifts and cards, or discussion of any kind that blurs the boundaries between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.

Hygiene And Health

Please arrive at your appointment clean.  If you are in need of a shower when you arrive, our office is equipped with shower and towels for your convenience.

If you are sick, please call and reschedule your appointment. Massage is not recommended if you are not well. Please let the therapist know if you have a contagious illness and the session will be rescheduled. If you are having Covid-19 Symptoms or have been exposed to covid-19 and need to reschedule you will not be billed for a late-cancellation fee as long as you notify us. 

Confidentiality And Conversation

The discussion between employees at Satori Massage Integrative Health Center and the client is confidential. The client may or may not choose to talk during a massage treatment.  Also will never be asked to talk about something if you choose not to during a coaching session.  If you choose to share we are happy to listen to youand share our professional expertise.


We do not offer childcare services.  However children are allowed in the treatment rooms, if they are quiet and respectful of the space.  Please feel free to bring DVD, I-Pads or I-Pods for children entertainment, however volume needs to be low and not disruptive to treatment or other treatments in the next room. Please do not leave children unattended in the reception area.

Existing And New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the therapist informed of any medical treatment currently undergoing, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the treatment may be continued.  The client must also keep the therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.

Gratuities And Tips

Gratuities are not expected or necessary, but of course they are an excellent way to let the therapist know they’ve done an amazing job. If you do choose to tip however, the average rate is 10-20%.  Tips may be left in the room for the therapist to find on the table or it may be added to your credit card, check payment at the end of the visit.  Please let the therapist know if you are adding to a check or cash payment, otherwise the therapist will add the remainder to your account balance.

Pregnancy And Massage

Massage therapy can be very beneficial for women during pregnancy. However, be sure to let the therapist know you are pregnant so they can assure your safety and comfort.
